Our Story

Ron D’Allessandris

Owner and Graphic Artist

It was apparent that Ron D’Allessandris had a talent for art and design and a head for business at an early age. As a 1992 graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, Ron utilized his degree in marketing and advertising to gain job experience as a copywriter, ad designer, and screen-printer.

In 1996, Ron put all his experience and instinct to the test and founded Alley Cat Designs, inc. Since starting solo as the company artist, salesman, administrator, screen printer, shipper, and bookkeeper, Alley Cat has grown to a workforce of 20+ employees with over $2 million dollars in revenue a year. "We have more than 25 years serving the Dayton communities as well as other communities around the globe; many of our first clients are still clients today! We are proud to have the opportunity to work with hundreds of businesses, school districts, sports and dance teams, and non-profit organizations," says Ron.

Ron prides himself on his personal motto: under-promise and over-deliver. "It is important, to be honest with your client and explain the process in full, and then educate them about our quality work," says Ron. "I instruct all of my employees not to make promises they can’t honor. The quickest way to lose trust and accounts is to over-promise your service and fall short on a deadline."

Ron lives in Germantown, Ohio, with his wife, Joni. He is the proud father of three sons (Robert, Andrew, and Stephen) and three step-daughters (Amber, Courtney, and Alysa). Contact Ron at ron@alleycatworldwide.com.
